Inspired By Those I love

Every page of Bramble & Fawn has been lovingly illustrated with more than just woodland beauty in mind. Hidden amongst the flowers, butterflies and forest creatures are special symbols, each chosen to honour the people who have shaped my life. Every illustration carries its own meaning, representing love, friendship, family and treasured memories. As you journey through the story, I hope you'll enjoy discovering these hidden tributes and perhaps be inspired to think of the special people who make your own story so meaningful.

The Robin

A symbol of unwavering love, quiet strength and the constant support of my husband, Keiron. Just as the robin faithfully watches over the woodland, his love, encouragement and belief in me have been a guiding presence throughout my journey.

The Bumblebee

The Ladybird

The Woodland Mushrooms

A symbol of my Mum, whose deep connection to nature, passion for healing, love of wellbeing and appreciation for all things spiritual have inspired me to find beauty, peace and magic in the world around us.

The Purple Butterfly

A symbol of my sister, whose unwavering love, strength and encouragement have been a constant throughout my life. Like the graceful butterfly, she reminds me that growth, resilience and the bonds we share can carry us through every season.

The Pink Flower

A symbol of my dear friend, Hannah, whose kindness, compassion and unwavering friendship have brought comfort, strength and happiness throughout my journey. Like the pink flower, she reminds me that the most beautiful friendships help us bloom.

The Two Pink Butterflies

A symbol of my beautiful nieces, Myla and Marcie, whose joyful hearts, endless curiosity and playful spirits bring love, laughter and a little extra magic to every moment we share. Like butterflies, they remind me to embrace wonder and find joy in life's simplest treasures.

The Dandelion

A symbol of my dear friend, Laura, whose unwavering friendship, quiet strength and gentle encouragement have carried me through life's changing seasons. Like the white dandelion, she reminds me that hope, resilience and the most meaningful connections can flourish wherever the wind may take us.
